          Kwa kirefu ni TANZANIA FELOWSHIP EVANGELICAL STUDENT, kwa kifupi twaweza sema ni umoja wa wanachuo walio okoka tanzania..hapa tunaunganisha ukwata+casfeta+vikundi mbalimbali vilivyokuwa o level and a level.. wazo hasa ni kuwafanya wanafunzi wakue kiroho na kielimu,

          Nikisema kielimu na maana kwamba unapewa elimu ya kujitambua nini unafanya ukiitwa mwanachuo..na jinsi ya kufanikiwa ukiishi chuoni...katika TAFES huwa kuna overnights za praise and worship yaani kusifu na kuabudu,maombi,na kujifunza Neno la mungu,kupitia watu waliofanikiwa sana kimaisha ...kuna maprofesa,watu maarufu nchini, na wana asociate (wana vyuo waliomaliza lakini bado wanashiriki kazi ya Mungu ndani ya TAFES ), STAF nk.

          DTS inamaana kwamba discipleship training seminar ..hii ni seminar ambayo inakuwa kipindi cha pasaka huwa ni seminar ambayo inadumu takribani siku 4 au 5 ,tena wanafunzi toka vyuo mbalimbali wanakutana kwa ajili ya kujifunza mambo mbalimbali hasa Neno la Mungu.... vitu vingine ambavyo wanajifunza ni mbinu za kusoma,ujasiliamali,uhusiano nk katika kristo Yesu . na mafundisho hayo  huwa vinafundishwa na wachungaji ,Waalimu ,maprofesa walio okoka wanaomjua Mungu, na wana asociates,

       nilipata nafasi ya kushiriki DTS mkoani morogoro miaka ya Nyuma, hapa naongelea TAFES member wa vyuo vya Morogoro... SUA,ARDHI MOROGORO,JORDAN UNIVERSITY,MUSLIM,PHN, nk. Kiukweli nilimuona Mungu katika ile seminar tena zawadi kubwa ilikuwa ni kujazwa ROHO MTAKATIFU na PASTOR RYOBA, na tena nikajuana na Watu wa Mungu ambao katika maisha yangu wamekuwa ni Baraka sana.

TAFES PROFILE

IFES was founded in 1947 when
leaders from ten Christian student
movements met at Harvard University
in the United States. Their dream was
to see a clear witness to the Lord
Jesus established in every university
in the world. That commitment is still
at the heart of IFES ministry and is the
basis of our Living Stones vision.
For more than 60 years, IFES has seen
God at work in remarkable ways. He
has grown global student ministry
through the faithful work of many
hands in the Fellowship and many
friends who share in this ministry with
PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE

Plans were laid in the 1930s for what
was to become the International
Fellowship of Evangelical Students
(IFES). As World War II ended,
preparations began for a meeting in
Oxford in 1946. As a draft constitution
was being completed, members of
the student group in China, the most
recently formed and also the largest
of the movements, sent a telegram
confirming their interest in forming
a world movement. Minutes of the
1946 meeting call this a ‘striking
confirmation’ that their plans were in
accordance with God’s will.

At this meeting it was agreed
that leaders, including student
representatives of the ten established
movements, would come together in
Harvard University the following year
for the formal institution of IFES. The
largest of those ten movements was
the China Inter Varsity Fellowship.
Gathering at Harvard University in the
United States in 1947 were men and
women of vision and with a passion
for Christ’s glory. They yearned for his
name to be honoured in the world’s
seats of learning and influence. Their
one big dream was to see a clear
witness to the Lord Jesus established
in every university in the world. On
behalf of their national movements
they covenanted to work and pray for
this. That commitment is still at the
heart of affiliation to IFES.

There are still countries yet to be
pioneered; there are still campuses in
many countries which need to be re-
pioneered; and there are generations
of students yet to be born. If we
remain faithful to our calling, the end
will come only when the Lord Jesus
Christ returns.

We want to see 1 million students
actively involved in IFES movements
by 2020! To do this we need to nurture
and train students to release their
creative energy and initiative in
engaging their friends and universities
for Christ.

Living Stones Vision to 2020
As you come to him, the Living Stone -
rejected by human beings but chosen
by God and precious to him - you
also, like living stones, are being built
into a spiritual house to be a holy
priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices
acceptable to God through Jesus
Christ.

These verses underlie our vision for
student ministry. We look to Jesus
as our model and seek to equip and
empower students to be like him.
The Living Stones vision was
crafted through a process which
was formally started in 2007 during
IFES World Assembly, when Daniel
Bourdanné, IFES General Secretary,
was appointed. Delegates from all
IFES movements participated in a day
of vision-casting and in the course of
a year all national movements were
invited to give feedback
